    Jewelry Concierge: Sales and Client Service Associate  

    Part Time

    About the role

    We’re looking for a smart, self-motivated, and action-oriented sales and service associate. You’ll be a jewelry cheerleader for GB and help make our clients’ ring dreams come true. You will report directly to the owner of GB.

     Responsibilities

    • Sales and Support: Provide sales support for general site inquiries. Answer client questions, support online sales, follow orders in production, coordinate shipping, and after care client follow up.
    • Custom Sales: Drive custom sales end-to-end by following up on leads, scheduling consultations, selling loose stones, and communicating with CAD designers to make clients’ dream rings come true in a smooth and stress-free process. 
    • Order Support: Place client orders, and make adjustments as requested by customers  (additions, cancellations, exchanges, and refunds) via Shopify. Be detail-oriented to execute client orders without error. 
    • Fulfillment Support: Assist the fulfillment/operations manager with customer claims and shipping carrier issues. Communicate with our clients regarding any order-related information and status updates on their orders. Work with clients to resolve any shipping issues to get them their orders in a timely manner.
    • Client Correspondence: Respond to customer emails and phone calls in a courteous and timely manner. 
    • General Support: Do what needs to get done. GB is a small team and we value teammates who are versatile, can pitch in as needed, and want to play a key role in our business. We also value everyone’s input; we want someone who wants to participate in general business decisions that help us grow.

    Required qualifications

    • Experience in fine jewelry client service and sales
    • Knowledge of jewelry production, CAD, gemstones, diamonds, and industry
    • Ability to confidently answer client questions on a broad range of jewelry topics
    • Empathetic and clear communication skills
    • Located in San Francisco, or remote is possible for the right candidate

    Preferred qualifications

    • Action oriented, self-starter who can work well with minimal supervision
    • Ability to structure and prioritize time, focusing on the most-productive and highest impact activities
    • Can independently set and attain goals 
    • Shopify experience; we can provide training

    Compensation

    Operations Associate 

    Part Time

    About the role

    We are looking for a smart, driven, and extremely detail-oriented individual to add to our operations team and will report directly to our Operations manager.

    Responsibilities

    • Customer Service Support: Sort and respond to basic customer service inquiries incoming via email or chat bot on the site regarding services, policies, or general inquiries. Relay information to pertinent team members, respond to clients in a timely manner with excellent service and care. Provide order updates, shipping confirmation and respond to existing customer questions.
    • Operations Support:. Generate order forms for new orders from Shopify, manage website inbox, monitor monthly inventory, maintain production tracker tool, and one or two days a week pick up and deliver orders in production from craftsperson-to-craftsperson.
    • Production Support:Assist jewelry production team monitor workflow, maintain production tool tracker, flag late running orders, ensure rush orders hit deadlines, work with team to make sure we are delivering exceptional and timely service to our clients. 
    • Fulfillment Support:Assist fullmminent/operations with packaging and QC for GB shipments, create shipping labels, monitor deliveries, and work with customer team to resolve shipping issues. Make sure GB clients are receiving their orders in a timely manner, flag & monitor late orders and rush shipments. 
    • General Support:  Do what needs to get done. GB is a small team and we value teammates who are versatile, can pitch in as needed, and want to play a key role in our business. We also value everyone’s input; we want you to participate in general business decisions that help us grow.

    Required qualifications:

    • Basic jewelry knowledge and background
    • Ability to maintain and adhere to an organization system
    • Excellent time and project priority management skills
    • Competent with Google Sheets/Excel and Drive
    • Customer service experience
    • Located in San Francisco (One or two days required to be physically present downtown SF)

    Preferred qualifications:

    • 1+ years of experience working in a jewelry store or AJP qualifications
    • 1+ years of project management experience 
    • General knowledge of jewelry production and business operations
    • Shopify and Parcel Pro experience (training will be provided if needed)
    • Curiosity to unpack data and identify sales trends or desire to streamline production workflows
    • Action oriented, self-starter who can work well with minimal supervision
    • Ability to structure and prioritize time, focusing on the most-productive and highest impact activities
    • Bonus, if you can pitch in to help create social media content along the way
